Well when you’re just happy to be there, it makes it hard to not be satisfied with just being there. I think that’s what happened with the Rockies. I hope they take this hard and come back next year with a sense of not just getting to the World Series, but winning it.
As for me, I was just happy they got there because I thought that next year would be the year they would do some damage in the NL. That expectation just got raised by about 100%.
