I read James Lileks and Powerline everyday, and Minneapolis is a big blog stronghold. Go to their sites for all the information on the horrible bridge collapse. Lileks is the editor for Buzz.mn and it is particularly good.
Selfishly, I’m glad that Lileks and the Powerline guys are o.k., but my sympathies go out to the families and friends of the folks who were killed and injured.
I’ve covered all sorts of tragedies, but it always hurts the most when people just minding their own business get sucked into a tragedy like this. I only hope that the pain I feel is somehow taking a bit away from the folks in Minnesota.
