The federal government seems to agree. On Friday, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is expected to officially remove bald eagles from the “threatened” list protected under the Endangered Species Act.
Excellent!! Having seen a bald eagle up close, I can tell you they are a magnificent bird. Now maybe we can save some humans in Africa by loosening up that DDT ban just a bit.

We have some that live about a block and a half away. At first we couldn’t believe it, but we’ve watched them for some time; and yes, that is what they are.
