You’ve all seen this by now, so I just had a few quick thoughts. I had dealt with Darrent Williams plenty of times in the Broncos lockerroom after games. He was always a great interview and a great guy. Even when he had a bad game and didn’t want to talk, he would be upfront about it and let us know.
He was the type of guy that folks say don’t exist in the sports world anymore. A good person.
You can always judge a person’s character by the reaction of the people they associated with. All you have to do is listen to the sports reporters in this town, and how devastated they are to understand what a terrible loss we’ve all suffered with this tragedy.
Goodbye Darrent, and thank you for sharing your life with us. You’ll be missed.
