The kids have an away game today. We’ve tied the last two, and lost the last two before that. It took us out of the playoff hunt. We need to win the last three games in order to assure ourselves of a winning record. We’ve never not had a winning record in soccer. A big game for us, and I seem to be saying that everytime. Well they are all big. I need a big performance from my captain today.
Also, two of the other league teams play tonight. That game will go a long way towards determining the league championship. It starts at 7:00p, but I don’t think I’ll go. It’ll be really cold. We’ll see though. It might be fun to watch that game.
UPDATE: The kids came out and took care of business. Final score 9-3. I don’t like the three, but you don’t have to like everything. Additionally, the game between the two league teams finished 6-0. That should seal the league for us. I don’t want to count chickens before they’re hatched, but I can see the cracks in the shells.
